Re-enactment

Re-enactment research is developing its own geneology in addressing the complexities and mediation between history and the production, interrogation, examination or translation of a prior event, exhibition or performance to produce a new interpretation, experience, encounter, immersion or surrogate construction.

Research methods may include historical and archival practices, translation, curation, methodological, performative or material investigations appropriate to the re-enactment and its contemporary context.
