On the 23rd July, the four bodies – the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, the Scottish Funding Council, the Department for the Economy, NI, and Research England published the draft criteria on the Research Excellence Framework 2021 inviting consultation responses from across the sector.

The consultation will close on the 15th October, and final documents are expected to be published at the end of January 2019.
